CPE Audits
AGA will be conducting their annual CPE audits of active CGFMs. Those selected will receive a letter in the mail notifying them of the audit process. Please take this opportunity to review your CPE records to ensure that you have all necessary documentation. Guidelines are listed in the CPE Requirements in Section 16. CGFMs are required to maintain their training records for at least three (3) years.
Continuing Professional Education Requirements
The CGFM CPE policies have been updated to include a new requirement for ethics hours and a limitation on the number of hours related to taxation — these changes are now in effect for all CPE cycles, see below for a summary of the effective changes.
Changes:
- New requirement of 4 ethics hours per cycle – see Section 2
- New limit of 20 hours in taxation per cycle – see Section 12
