Alexandra Weimorts
The AGA Tallahassee Chapter would like to nominate Alexandra Weimorts as the 2021 -2022 Volunteer of the Year. Alexandra has volunteered her time, energy, talents, and knowledge to the Chapter for a number of years. She has served as the Chapter Secretary, President-Elect, and President. She has also served as Scholarship Chair, Awards Chair, Education Chair, and Committee member for the Annual Government Training Event and the Nominations Committee. She even found time this year to collect 32 pounds of aluminum bottle tabs for the Chapter in support of the Ronald McDonald house here in Tallahassee, Florida.
Alexandra‘s breadth of volunteerism knows no boundaries. She is quick to help out whenever the need arises and uses her organizational and communication skills to ensure that each activity is successful. She devotes long hours each year to the Annual Government Training Event to book speakers, collect and organize their materials, and finalize the schedule. She attends the monthly meetings of the Chapter Executive Committee and lends her Chapter experience, as well as her professional knowledge, to the discussions and decisions. She is a dedicated member of the Chapter and the National AGA and it is our pleasure to nominate Alexandra Weimorts for the Volunteer of the Year Award.
