What is a digital badge?
A badge is a digital token that appears as an icon on a webpage, email signature, social media platform, or other online venues and serves as a digital proof of the certification. The badge provides a link to verify the credential in real-time and describes what one had to do to earn it.

 This is what the CGFM digital badge looks like. Click on the badge to see what details will be displayed when clicked on. Individuals' badges will also have their name, CGFM award date, expiration date and certificate number.

What are the benefits of a badge?
The CGFM digital badge is an online representation of your certification. It is sharable with others and verifiable with one click. It provides employers and peers concrete evidence of your certification status and requirements to earn it. The badge also offers labor market insights, based on CGFM-related skills. You can search and apply for job opportunities right through the Credly platform.
How do I get my digital badge?
After you have earned your CGFM certification, you will receive an email from admin@credly.com with instructions on creating an account on the Credly site. After you create and confirm an account, you can claim and share your CGFM badge. Digital badges are only issued for active CGFMs. If CGFM becomes inactive, your digital badge will expire. If your CGFM is inactive, please visit Maintaining CGFM for current reactivation requirements.
Can I print my digital badge?
Yes! You can print and share a pdf version of your badge.
- Access your Credly account
- Click on your badge
- Click “Share” at the bottom of the screen
- Click on the printer icon from the list of sharing options
- Click “Download PDF” at the bottom of the screen
What is Credly and what is its relationship with AGA?
Credly works with credible organizations to provide digital credentials to individuals, worldwide. AGA has entered into a vendor relationship with Credly to issue digital badges to active CGFMs. Credly is the website from which you claim (accept), store and share your badge. It is also where those looking to verify your certification will go to view the badge details.
Is there a fee for claiming or displaying my badge?
No. Storing, managing and sharing badges is free for CGFMs.
Is it a requirement for my CGFM to use a digital badge?
No. The use of a digital badge is optional. If you decide not to utilize this service, simply do not accept the digital badge you receive from admin@credly.com.
