National Academic Scholarships

Each scholarship is worth $3,000! AGA National Academic Scholarship program aims to increase awareness of the potential for a vibrant and rewarding career supporting the government financial management community.
 
Scholarships are open to students who are pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in disciplines such as accounting, economics, finance, information systems/technology or public administration.

Each year, AGA will award:

• Rising college freshman (full-time): Two scholarships 
• Undergraduate students (full-time): Four scholarships
• Graduate students (full-time or part-time): Three scholarships
• Community service: Two academic scholarships (focusing on community service accomplishments)

Application deadline is May 26, 2025, before 11:59 pm Eastern Time

Training Scholarships

• National Collegiate Leadership Scholarship:

  Each year, AGA selects up to ten undergraduate students to attend the National Leadership Training (NLT) in February. The 2025 application is closed. If you have questions, contact scholarships@agacgfm.org

• Early Career Training Scholarship:

  Each year, AGA selects up to ten early career members to attend the Professional Development Training (PDT) in July. The PDT 2025 application will open in March 2025. If you have questions, contact scholarships@agacgfm.org
