Serve on AGA's National Governing Board!

We are currently seeking nominations to serve on AGA's National Governing Board as National President-Elect, National Treasurer-Elect and Director At–Large. Give back to AGA by volunteering as an AGA National Governing Board leader for a two-year term (July 2025–June 2027). Nominations are open until December 20.

What does the job entail?

All board members will participate in five NGB meetings per year (three meetings in person and two virtual). In addition, they are invited to participate in their respective annual chapter leadership training meetings, held in April and May, where they will meet and network with chapter leaders and refine and apply personal leadership abilities.  Learn more about all NGB positions, and the level of commitment required, in the National Governing Board position descriptions.
 

How do I apply?

Nominations are open until December 20. If you’re interested in submitting a nomination, be prepared to agree to and answer the following:

  • Read and agree to the Conflict of Interest policy
  • Agree to attend the following in-person meetings and events:
  • Detail your leadership experience, both professionally and within AGA.
  • Express why you want to serve AGA, your ideas for recruiting and retaining AGA members, and your vision for the future of AGA.
  • The following documents are required to complete the application.
    • Nominee Resume : The nominee's resume in .pdf file format not exceeding 5 MB in size
    • Letter of Recommendation : You may upload a letter of recommendation from another party for this nominee to bolster your nomination. Accepted file types: .pdf, .doc, .docx and may not exceed 5 MB in size.
    • Professional Nominee Portrait: Please upload a professional portrait of the nominee. If the nominee is selected to serve, this photo will be used for announcement purposes. Accepted file types: .jpg, .jpeg and may not exceed 1 MB in size.
