Jacob MacDonald
The AGA Northern Virginia Chapter takes great pleasure in nominating Jacob MacDonald as our Chapter's Volunteer of the Year. Mr. MacDonald is an active member of the NOVAGA. Jacob chairs and manages the Membership, and Early Careers Committees. As the Membership Chair Jacob’s efforts have led to the committee doubling in size since he started. He always takes the initiative; surveying the chapter membership to assure we are addressing member needs. He plans our tri-chapter picnic, ski event, wine tasting, early career, and networking events to boost member participation, especially among young professionals. He attends all the events and is a great board member; always willing to take the lead and help.
Jacob MacDonald (jacob.macdonald@ey.com) is a member of EY's Global Public Sector (GPS) and has over 8 years of federal experience in both the financial statement audit and advisory service lines. A Penn State, grad he is a CGFM and a 2015 AGA Future Leader Award recipient.
