Melinda DeCorte
Ms. Melinda DeCorte has served the AGA Dallas Chapter in various capacities since 2016, most recently as the AGA Dallas National Council of Chapters (NCC) Representative. She has also served in various leadership roles at the National level, most recently serving as Director for Chapters for Area 3 in the National Governing Board, and as the Chair of the Ethics Board. Melinda has previously served the AGA Dallas Chapter as President, Immediate Past President, Webmaster, and unofficial Programs Director. Melinda helped the AGA Dallas Chapter strengthen our in-person professional development training events before 2020, and was an integral part in our successful transition to virtual professional development training events starting in 2020. She spearheaded our leadership succession efforts, helping the Chapter document detailed position descriptions for each role, and ensuring smooth transitions of key positions, including President, Treasurer, and Secretary roles. As the NCC Representative for AGA Dallas and Director for Chapters for Area 3, Melinda also facilitated communication and collaboration among Area 3 chapters and represented our Chapter’s and Area’s interests in the National Governing Board.
