Randy Lagerblade
Randy, our Immediate Past President and NCC Representative, went above and beyond during the 2021-2022 program year by stepping into the Chapter’s empty Education Director Chair. He dedicated a significant portion of his time and energy to help organize our annual spring seminar, held as a hybrid event for the first time ever. Randy toured and worked with the event center to make sure the room was properly set up for the seminar, he met with the audiovisual company to ensure everything was set up and ready for the virtual participants, including attending a practice session to verify the technology all worked. He helped to stuff the giveaway water bottles and other items for all attendees, organized the catering, and announced all 6 guest speakers to the 41 in person and 45 remote attendees. The hybrid event was a huge success due in large part to Randy’s dedication to the Des Moines Chapter of AGA.
