Chapters in Virginia

This chapter is for finance and accounting students attending ODU.

The Northern Virginia Chapter of AGA (NOVAGA) was chartered on June 1, 1968 with professionals in the government financial management community. The NOVAGA chapter is primarily composed of members from Virginia and the greater Washington DC area.

We are chapter engaged with our members and want the best for our members. We try to get members involved with the CEC and want our members to continue to progress in their career. With that said, we do our best to provide quality affordable CPEs. We hover around 300 members and continue to grow yearly. This year, we want to be more interactive with membership and get membership more involved and in tune with the AGA brand.

This chapter serves the needs of the Shenandoah Valley area to include Winchester and its surrounding areas. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month starting at 5pm. Meetings are held at Macado's - 101 N Loudon St, Winchester.

The chapter serves the needs of governments and private organizations that encompass a large area of Southwest Virginia including Roanoke and Blacksburg, as well as the surrounding universities, including Virginia Tech and Radford. Please call for meeting locations and times.
