Course Details: Avoiding Problems in Conducting Single Audits

The Single Audit Act of 1984 requires a single, organization-wide financial and compliance audit for state and local governments. For many years, federal IGs have complained about the quality of single audits. This course is designed to assist auditors who conduct single audits to avoid the concerns raised by the IGs.

  • Dealing with the issues the IGs raised: reviewing internal controls over compliance
  • Rules that govern federal grants
  • Complying with federal expectations for audit findings
